Joseph Goode

Joseph L. Goode, 88, of Charlottesville, passed away on May 21, 2018. Joseph was born on February 27, 1930, to the late Thomas Alford and Hester Hackett Goode. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brothers, T.J. Goode and John Goode; and sisters, Estelle Hensley and Fannie Dowell. Joseph is survived by his wife, Lucille Ann Morris Goode; sons, Charles Goode (Karen) and Phil Goode (Pam); daughter, JoAnn Goode; grandchildren, Brandy, Stacy, Justin, Lindsay, and Hallie; and sisters, Ann Zimmerman, Daisy Sampson, Joyce Jones, and Mary Ellen Fewell. The family would like to thank his caregivers, Sheila Willis and Debbie Graves, for their loving care of Joseph. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018, 11 a.m., at Monticello Memory Gardens in Charlottesville, VA.
