Debbie was well known for her soft gentle smile, tender heart, and compassion for those around her. Born to Owen and Ezetta Furr of Charlottesville on Feb 3, 1961. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Ron Marshall, daughters Christina Marshall, Heather Marshall and her husband Joe Moneymaker, and son Jonathan Marshall. Additionally grandchildren Aiden Marshall and Chloe Lanzon, Sisters Karen Perkins, Anita Riley, a brother Allen Furr and his wife Donna, mother in law Gertrude Houchens, dear friend Freddy Lanzon and numerous nieces and nephews.
While Debbie spent over 30 years working in retail, her true calling was to be a wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed many of life's activities but most especially enjoyed family trips to the Outer Banks were she could be found on the beach with a fishing rod in her hands. Debbie was also an avid animal lover as the many pets that flowed through our home over the years could attest to.
The family will receive friends from 6pm - 8pm on Sunday April 23, 2023 at Teague Funeral Service, 2260 Ivy Road Charlottesville, Va. 22901. A funeral service will be held in the Free Union Church of the Brethren located at 4152 Free Union Road, Free Union, Va. 22940 on Monday, April 24th at 2:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at the church cemetery.
