Born April 16, 1950 in Dalton, GA, he was a son of the late Charles and Vivian Bevil. He was a 1972 graduate of Georgia Tech. Bill was a Christian man and loved his family more than anything.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sandy Bevil; two sons, Brooks Bevil of Charlotte and Brandon Bevil, his wife, Michelle, and their son, Lucas, all of Cary; his brother, Charles “Buddy” Bevil and his wife, Mary Jean, of Dalton; his sister, Beverly Pulliam of Dalton; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, with a celebrate his life service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Friends are cordially invited to a reception at the family residence following the service.
