Mr. Miller, age 42, of Charlotte passed away at home from this life to his heavenly home on Monday, September 27, 2010.
He was born April 10, 1968 in Charlotte, North Carolina the son of Tommy R. Miller and Janice Randolph Miller.
He graduated from Olympic High School and attended NC State University and Central Piedmont Community College. Ray worked for Mid-South Consulting Engineering Inc., Miror Telephony Software and P.C. Jackson Plumbing.
Surviving are his mother, Janice Kuykendall of Charlotte; father, Tommy R. Miller and stepmother Melissa Miller of Charlotte; brother, Joel Bright of Dallas, TX; sister, Shelley Kuykendall of Charlotte, aunts and uncles, Christine and Ed Lloyd of Chapel Hill; Linda Miller of Pensacola Fla., Dennis and Gerlyn Miller of Columbus Ga., Charles and Rita Byrd of Poquoson, Va., Mary and Danny Edmonds of Hampton Va., Wanda and Heinz Trulley of Hampton, Va., Gail and Lynwood Gay of Houston, TX; his cat, Asia; and numerous cousins; family and friends who loved him.
Ray was a gentle, quiet, caring, humble, lovable giant of a person with many gifts and talents. He was always willing to help anyone. He loved sports, especially the Panthers, racing, gun shows, and working on his Monte Carlo and many other cars with his best friend, Thomas Lewis. Tom and his family were a very integral part of Ray’s life.
We rejoice that Ray was a believer in Jesus Christ as his Savior. We will all miss him immensely.
The visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Calvary Church in the Chapel. A Celebration of Ray’s life will begin at 2:00 PM with Senior Pastor, Dr. John H. Munro officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn West.
