Toby "Micki" Stern

Toby “Micki” Stern, age 81, of Fort Mill, South Carolina passed away at home on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Toby was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of the late Morris and Sylvia Levinson. She was one of four daughters.

She spoke to her sisters multiple times a day. Toby is survived by her daughter, Sari Rosenberger (Stern); her son-in-law, Adam Rosenberger; her granddaughter, Sofia; her sisters, Rochelle Tolpin (Levinson) and Joan Seitz (Levinson); and brother-in-law, Jeff Seitz. Toby is preceded in death by her son, Allen Stern and her parents.

Toby was a loving and devoted mother to her two children and would have done anything for them. She would tell anyone who would listen about them. She was a tough but fair mom who made sure she taught her kids everything. Toby worked hard as a legal secretary to ensure her kids always had everything they needed. Nobody could have loved becoming a grandmother more than Toby did. She loved watching Sofia grow up and loved being involved in everything Sofia did.

Toby loved music, scrabble, mahjong and she loved to dance when she was younger.

She will be sorely missed and remembered as a fiery, sarcastic loving woman.

A graveside funeral will be held Monday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the Hebrew Cemetery of Charlotte.
