Tamra’s life was defined by her deep love for her family and her joyful embrace of life’s simple pleasures. She found immense happiness in being a mother to her girls, fishing, crocheting, painting, and above all, in the company of her loved ones. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression of genuine care and infectious laughter. Tamra was cherished for her intelligence, humor, and undeniable beauty, traits that illuminated the lives of all who knew her.
Her family holds dear countless memories. From hour long canasta tournaments to cherished Sunday suppers, Tamra’s presence every moment unforgettable. As a mother, nana, sister, aunt, friend, and coworker, she dedicated herself wholeheartedly, leaving a legacy of love and devotion.
Tamra is survived by her three daughters, son in law, and future daughter in law; Jessica Smith & Johnathan Smith, Sara Horn, Alex Horn & Kelly Jackson. As well as her grandchildren, Danielle Byers and Finley Smith, who brought immense joy into her life. She is also survived by her siblings and brother in law, Tim Baxter and Penny Shaw & Stan Shaw, and her nieces and nephews: Preston & Jennifer Baxter, Courtney & Stacy Baxter, Jared, Ashley & Kinlee Baxter, Kelli, Terrel & Maya Brown, and Angelica, Jay, Ava, Lucy Jo & Everett Haslam.
In honoring Tamra’s memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and a profound connection to those who meant the most to her. Her light will continue to shine brightly through the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Foundation or Hospice directly, in memory of Tamra Horn.
