Shirley Ann Boylan, age 87, of Matthews, North Carolina passed away peacefully at the Hospice House of Union County on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
She was born on October 1, 1935 in Albemarle, NC, a daughter of the late Grace Clontz Boone and Arthur Jennings Boone; and beloved wife to her late husband of 60 years, Kenneth Boylan. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Matilda Boone Hinson.
Shirley was a avid tennis player and instructor, world traveler, and active member of Carmel Country Club and Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.
