Sherry Anglin Wallace

Sherry Wallace, age 68, of Charlotte passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Emeritus at South Park.

She was born November 13, 1943 in Charlotte, North Carolina the daughter of the late Eugene Francis Anglin and Mary Virginia Morris Anglin.

Sherry was a very happy person who loved gardening, shopping, shag dancing and making others laugh. She really enjoyed being at the beach during S.O. S. with family and friends. Sherry was a devoted and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She cherished her time with her family and spent her life serving her church and the Lord.

Surviving are her son, Chris Wallace and wife Elise; daughter, Cassie Abernethy and husband Jason; grandchildren, Kayla Wallace, Andrew Wallace, Parker Abernethy and Reese Abernethy; sister, Patsy Anglin Foster and husband Don; nephew, Kenny Foster; niece, Marci Park; and numerous other loving family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff of Emeritus at South Park for their wonderful care of Sherry.
