Beloved mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her children Steven Van, Elsie Lavernne, Danny Ray, Kenneth, Eddie; father James Monroe Godfrey; mother Elsie Jolly. She is survived by her brother Roger and his wife Judy Godfrey; nephews Jason and Ryan all of Forrest City, NC; daughter Melissa and husband Mark Flowers of Charlotte, NC; son Scott Crow and wife Becca of Charlotte, NC; eight grandkids; eight great grandkids.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28th at noon at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. A funeral service will be held following the visitation with a graveside service at Evergreen City Cemetery located at 4426 Central Avenue in Charlotte.
