Rose-Marie Simpson

She formerly lived in Paulding and Van Wert, Ohio, as well as Port Charlotte, Florida. She was born July 9, 1927 in Van Wert County to the late Glen and Cora (Wollett) Adams. On January 11th, 1986 she married Wilbur E. Simpson who preceded her in death in 2010.

Posie is survived by her beloved children, Heidi Dangler Kirk and Kevin (Sue) Dangler. She adored her grandchildren, Marlo Nero, Carissa (Dan) Kunkel, Alexis (Brian) Dedrick, Olivia Dangler, and Leslie (Kenneth) Long. Her love extended with pride to her ten great-grandchildren, Mikayla (Matt) Jensen, Isabella Nero, Addyson and Jackson Long, Hudson and Carson Dedrick, Sophia and Anna Kunkel, and Alexander and Aubrey Borromeo. There are four great-great grandchildren: Celeste, Leith, and Landon Jensen and Noemi Nero Nogueira. Posie will also be missed by many beloved nieces and nephews, and dear friends she leaves behind.

Preceding Rose-Marie in death were her parents, her husband, “Web” Simpson, and her siblings Evelyn (Joe) Etter, Glenwood (Zelma) Adams, Rudy (Bess) Adams, Joanne (Jess) McCoy and Wendell “Jim” (Nellie) Adams. With great sadness, she is also survived two sons Dennis Dangler and Scott Dangler, grandson Bradley Dangler, and granddaughter Dr. Kimberly Dangler.

There will be a private memorial and celebration of life in the spring, when Rose-Marie will be laid to rest in the Ridge Cemetery in Van Wert, Ohio.
