She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all.
Born January 10, 1950, Penny was the daughter of T.C. and Betsy (Mundy) Bailey and they along with her husband of 53 years, King David Quick; preceded her in death.
She was a member Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
Penny loved spending two weeks in August, yearly, with her family and friends at Rock Springs Campground.
Survivors include her son, John Quick; granddaughter, Mackenzie Quick; sisters, Candy Howell and Pam Livingston; brother, Kemp Bailey; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She will be missed by all.
The family will received friends at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, from 12 pm until the time of service at 2 pm on Friday, September 16, 2022. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Amazing Grace Baptist Church, 7280 Sifford Rd, Stanley, NC 28164.
