Peggy Jackie Jacqueline Terry Hilton

A native of Rowan County, Mrs. Hilton was born to the late John Calvin and Bertha Smith Terry on July 15, 1929. She was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church. Mrs. Hilton is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Wade Hilton.

Mrs. Hilton is survived by her children, Billy Wade Hilton and wife Diane, Calvin Blair Hilton and wife Di both of Charlotte, Linda Carol Ligon and husband Wendell of Gilbert, SC; sister, Joan Vincent of Charlotte; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 1:30p.m., Saturday, December 29 in the chapel at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Noon to 1:30p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
