Marion Elizabeth McCallum Heath

Marion Elizabeth McCallum Heath, 85, of Charlotte, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at her home. She was born in Charlotte and was daughter of the late Hubert Alton and Zelma Livingood McCallum and widow of the late Paul Jones Heath, Jr. Marion retired from the Canada Dry Bottling Company where she worked as an accountant. She was a graduate of Harding High School and the Valedictorian of her class. She and husband Paul had many travels throughout the US and Canada and enjoyed square dancing and clogging. She is survived by her three children, Pamela Ferguson, (John), Paul J “Tim” Heath (Kathy), William A. “Bill” Heath; five grandchildren, Michael, Wendi, Melissa, Ransom and Peyton; seven great grandchildren; sister, Judy Pinkard (Jerry); brothers, Hubert McCallum (Bernice), Jim McCallum, Bill McCallum (Barbara), David McCallum and Glenn McCallum (Brenda); many nieces, nephews and her precious dog, Mullitt. A Service to Celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 2nd at Forest Lawn West Chapel with Reverend Larry Burns officiating. Interment will follow the service in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
