Margaret Tarleton Fritz

A memorial service will be held Saturday, 20 July 2013 at 1pm at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212 to celebrate her life. The service will be officiated by Reverend Harold Hudson.

Margaret was born in Wadesboro, NC on 24 May 1952 to her late parents, Harold and Martha Tarleton. She graduated from Bowman High School in 1970 and obtained an Associate’s Degree from King’s College in 1971. She worked at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC where she met her husband, Tom, and was married in 1977. While she loved being a mother to all of her dogs throughout her life, her greatest joy was being a mother to her two daughters, who were everything to her. For the past 18 years, she was the Office Manager of the family business, Fritz Equipment Service.

Margaret loved watching movies and baking, but the most important thing to her was family and loved any opportunity to get together with those she loved. She was a woman with the most generous and caring heart and all who had the pleasure of knowing her loved her.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her sister, Frances, oldest brother, Bill, and sister-in-law, Karen.

She is survived by her loving husband and constant companion of 36 years, Tom Fritz; her two daughters, Mary Kondratowicz and her husband, Ryan, of Atlanta, GA and Sarah Fritz of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Alaina and Levi Kondratowicz of Atlanta, GA; brothers Larry Tarleton and his wife, Judy, of Charleston, SC and Hal Tarleton and his wife, Ginny, of Wilson, NC; and several nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved like her own children.
