For a woman who spent her life doing the Lord's work, words are hard to find. If you were blessed to have known her you will understand. She dedicated her entire life to others' happiness and well being and we are incredibly grateful God shared her with us. For those chosen to be loved by her, we will forever miss her smile that enveloped you in warmth, hands that worked the land and took such sweet care of so many, and a heart that knew no stranger. May her legacy of love continue through us...
Survivors include her two children, Sue (Ronnie) Johnson and Allen (Debra) Flowers, all of Charlotte; four grandchildren, Johnnie and Daniel Johnson, Randi Timmons, and Jason Flowers; nine great grandchildren; and three siblings, Ed Thomas and Louise Mullis, both of Fairview, NC, and Ernest Thomas, Mint Hill, NC.
