Lillian Bernice Thompson Dulin

Born in Cabarrus County, NC on March 12, 1930 to parents Willis T Thompson and Lonie Edna Fink Thompson. Bernice attended Bain High School in Mint Hill, NC and went on to work at Woolworth’s Downtown, Highland Park Manufacturing where she met her husband Ken, A & P Produce Office and retired from Moss Supply Company in 1991.

She enjoyed reading, spending time at the beach and camping with her husband and family and was a member of Mt Harmony Baptist Church. Bernice and Ken married on January 30, 1949 and were happily married for 73 ½ years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Bernice was predeceased by husband, Kenneth H. Dulin, son, Kenneth Ray Dulin, Parents; Willis T Thompson and Lonie Edna Fink Thompson, sisters; Alma Foard and Margaret Godfrey and brother, Bud Thompson. She is survived by daughter, Beverly D Stephenson, daughter, Tammy D Cauble (Gary) and daughter-in-law, Patty McCrary. Grandchildren; Angie Ramsey (Lee), Matt Stephenson (Misti), Sherry Gustafson (Bruce), Teresa Coltharp, Neal Cauble (Stephanie) and 11 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 15th, 2023 at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM with service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill, NC.
