Kay George Sellers

Kay was born in Charlotte on March 26, 1940. She grew up in Charlotte and graduated from Central High School.

Kay was a very strong, compassionate and selfless woman. She devoted her life to being a homemaker. She was a longsuffering and steadfast wife. She dearly loved her children and granddaughter and fervently prayed for them. Every moment spent with her granddaughter, Ashley, was precious to her.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Sellers.

She is survived by her son, Mark Sellers; daughter, Julie Garrett and her fiance Dave Suther; and her granddaughter, Ashley Garrett. Kay is also survived by her sister, Phyllis Davis.

Kay cherished her Savior, Jesus Christ. She always had a smile and warm affection for those she knew and met.

The family will dearly miss Kay but know we will be reunited with her in Heaven.

A funeral service honoring Kay's life will be held at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte NC, 28208 on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., one hour before the service begins. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
