The Celebration of Life will be held at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church, 1600 W. Mallard Creek Church Road, Charlotte, NC 28262, on Friday, September 30th, 2022 at 10:00 AM, where she was a member for many years. The services will be officiated by Rev. Hunter Roddey.
Visitation will be held in the activity building after services.
Mrs. Reid was born on December 31, 1935 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Theo and Noah Leaird. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Vance R. Reid, two daughters, Terry Wilkinson (Al) and Donna Rice, one brother, Thomas Earl Leaird and one niece, Debbie Clark, along with three grandchildren, Michael Helms, Reid Wilkinson and Cary Powell (Scott).
Joann will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She also enjoyed sewing, working in her flower beds, puzzles, singing and going shopping.
