During her time at West Mecklenburg High School, Jennifer met her soulmate and the future father of her child - Paul Webb. Though they were only friends at first, Jennifer and Paul soon became inseparable and were finally married on February 7, 2020 in Charlotte, NC. They were truly two peas in a pod, always showing affection, and never passing up an opportunity to demonstrate to each other how deep their love ran.
Over the years, Jennifer became very close with Paul’s family and was given the opportunity to work for their business - WebTax NC. She enjoyed many years working with the Webbs and learning all the secretarial and administrative duties that go along with running an accounting firm.
In 2014, Jennifer and Paul had a beautiful baby girl named Katie Ruth Webb. Katie was Jennifer’s heart and she loved her more than anything in the world. As a very hands-on Mom, Jennifer loved doting on Katie and always made sure her needs were met and that she was happy. One of their favorite activities was going to the park, often with a picnic or tacos in hand.
A true free-spirit, Jennifer had so many interests and hobbies that put a smile on her face, with one of her most notable passions being makeup and beauty. Paul, being the great husband he was, signed up for Jennifer to receive the monthly subscription box from BoxyCharm. Jennifer’s excitement was almost tangible each month when her makeup arrived. Loving makeup the way she did, Jennifer was a skilled beauty queen and she always made sure she had a fresh, bold look done for even the smallest tasks of the day.
Aside from makeup, Jennifer also found great joy in music, swimming, and taking trips to the beach. She could also frequently be found relaxing and reading, or working on crafts.
Jennifer was a beautiful and vibrant woman whose bubbly personality allowed her to make friends wherever she went. An absolute sweetheart, she was always available to help anyone in need and would’ve done anything for anyone. Jennifer was always so strong for her family and friends and they are completely devastated without her.
Those left heartbroken by this great loss include her high school sweetheart and husband, Paul Webb; her precious seven year old daughter, Katie Ruth Webb; her unconditionally loving mother, Jackie O’Connor and her stepfather who raised her, Jeff O’Connor; her sister, Jessica Woodworth and her girlfriend Marissa; her brother Tony Woodworth and his boyfriend Tim; her mother-in-law Kelly Webb; her brother-in-law Cody Webb; her many beloved pets; as well as countless other loving family members and friends.
Jennifer is now reunited in Heaven with her wonderful father-in-law, James “Perry” Webb; her maternal grandma, Gail Mileskey; and her maternal great-grandma, Emily Mileskey.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Forest Lawn West Funeral and Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Dr., Charlotte, NC. A funeral service to honor Jennifer will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Paul Helton Chapel at the funeral home. A committal with a balloon release will follow the service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
Jennifer’s heart of gold had a special place for animals, so in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her name to The Humane Society of Charlotte or ASPCA.
