Jean Watson Lindsay

Mrs. Lindsay, age 75, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at her residence. Born April 18, 1935 in Stokes County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse D. Watson and Vadie Maxie Lynch Watson. Mrs. Lindsay was a homemaker.

The service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 3, 2011 in the Chapel of Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service. Interment will follow in Charlotte Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Robin Lindsay of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Elaine Lindsay Dragon of Hickory and Daniel Lindsay of Charlotte; two great grandchildren, Madisyn and Logan; and three sisters, Wanda Deatherage, Jeraldine Midkiff and Pauline Mitchell. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lindsay was preceded in death by her husband, Costin and a sister, Annie Belle McBride.
