Jay is survived by his sister Gaye Baker and husband Michael, brother Ray McGee, nephews Nic McLaughlin and wife Angie, David McLaughlin and wife Deborah, and niece Meredith Luke and husband Will, eight great nieces and nephews and the love of his life, Allie Rinehart.
One of Jay’s passions was helping those less fortunate. One way he did this was by volunteering with Appalachia Service Project.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, September 9th at Davidson United Methodist Church Chapel, 304 South Main Street, Davidson, NC. Visitation is at 11:30am, followed by the service at 1:00pm.
