Ms. Janice A. Best

Ms. Best, age 36, of Charlotte was called home Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House surrounded by family and loved ones.

She was born November 5, 1974 in Charlotte, North Carolina the daughter of the late Ray Best and Dixie Burrell Best. She is also preceded in death by two grandmothers and a grandfather.

Janice was an exceptionally devoted and loving mother, sister, aunt and friend who left behind a legacy of love. She was known for her large heart and determination that helped her to further her education with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management. She will be deeply missed by all.

Surviving are her loving son, Isaiah “Nanna” Best; sister, Robin Best-Clark and her husband Tommy; nephews, Michael Clark, Nico Clark and his fiancé Talisia Matthews, and Deay Wike; niecettes; and other numerous loving family members.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 21, 2011 at McEwen Charlotte Chapel, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
