Born in Charleston, WV on December 27, 1952 to Harrison Stanton Kincaid and Anna Bell Young, James proudly served in the US Navy as a seaman apprentice in Vietnam.
James married Linda Almond and enjoyed 42 years of marriage. He was an active member of the Indian Trail and Mint Hill Athletic Association. He enjoyed his poker nights with friends from the ITGA.
Affectionately known as Bobby 2 Gloves (B2G), James was a dedicated family man who cherished his time watching his grandchildren play sports and his annual golf trips.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife Linda; son Justin (Lauren) and daughter Kim (Steve) Gustina; grandchildren Colton Miller, Cooper Gustina, Lilly Kincaid and Addi Kincaid; brother Bruce, sister-in-law Dee (Mike) Carroll; sister-in-law Sue (Fred) Ferguson and nephews Kris and Jason Kincaid and Jeremy Ferguson.
James is preceded in death by his parents, brother Harrison Stanton Kincaid, Jr, niece Amy Kincaid Meadows and aunt Patty Thomas.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at noon at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. Funeral service will begin at 1pm with burial immediately following at Sharon Memorial Park with US Navy Military honors.
