He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Walker, Sr., grandparents, his Aunt Evelyn Harris, Aunt Agnes Hernandez, and Uncle Don Sunderlin.
Survived by mother, Anna Couch, stepfather, Arnold Couch, sister, Melissa Couch, and children: Jesse Walker, Cheyenne Walker (Eathean), Thomas "TJ" Walker (Kelli), Greggory "Gregg" Walker, and grandchildren: Bellami, NovaLeigh, Everly, and Wesley. He is also survived by many friends and loved ones.
Jack was known for his laid-back and easygoing personality, his sense of humor, and willingness to help anyone in need. Since his early days, Jack was never without a set of wheels, starting with bicycles as soon as he could reach the pedals then moving on to any and all types of motorcycles.
Jack spent his childhood in Florida before moving to Virginia, where he graduated from Fairfax High School and started his career in auto mechanics. Jack was a natural and continued on to later work at Tyson's Jeep in Tyson's Corner, VA while completing his technical school degree. After several years, Jack was ready for warmer weather and moved back to Florida with his family for a short time before landing in the Charlotte, NC area, where he worked nearly 18 years for the Charlotte Area Transit System. Jack loved the peace and quiet of the mountains, kayaking and fishing in the local lakes, and of course exploring back roads on his bike, but above all, his favorite place to be was spending as much time as possible with his children and grandchildren.
