Mrs. Johnson, 93, of Charlotte, North Carolina, died on March 3, 2012. She was born on August 8, 1918 in Hartford, Connecticut to Edward and Jacobine Gustafson.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her two sons, Lyman L. Johnson and his wife Susan, and Richard E. Johnson and his wife Jane, as well as her grandchildren, Jessica, Eliza, Nathaniel and Benjamin. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren, Alexander, Zachary, Hardister, Emmy, Radmila and Kazimir.
Helen was a happy and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She lived a long and happy life and her family and friends will miss her.
A private family service and burial will occur in Connecticut.
