Gregory Morris Hill

Greg began his passion of becoming a chef in Asheville, North Carolina and obtained his culinary degree at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College in 1972. He worked and managed several restaurants and kitchens in many cities throughout North and South Carolina for 45 years and Courier services until his passing.

He was a "Die Hard" Dallas Cowboys fan and would let any and everyone know the love he had for "his Boyz". Greg was well known and respected by his McBonie's crew and community. He was known as "Unk" by all. He never met a stranger and befriended everyone. Greg always had an open heart and listening ear. He was always willing to help others, no matter the task at hand. And never asked for anything in return!

He was the person everyone could depend on.

Gregory is preceded in death by his parents Eddie Sanders and Alice H. McNeil

Mr. Hill is survived by his daughter, Promise Hill (Cameron) of Hendersonville, NC ; sons, Cedric Bailey (Tanesha) of Raleigh, NC and Everett Wright (Kathryn) of Franklin, NC; brothers Joseph Hill (Carolyn) of Raleigh, NC, James McNeil of Phoenix, Arizona ; Grandchildren TreVon Hill, Camille Bynum, De'Andrea Bailey,Maxine Bailey, Ayva Bailey, Aria Wright, and Atticus Wright. Special niece and nephew Kim Grant and Rayford Waters of Charlotte, NC.
