Floyd Treeon Wilkins, Jr., age 43, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Duke University Medical Center. A native of Charlotte, he was born on March 18, 1970 to the late Floyd Treeon Wilkins, Sr. and Annie Victoria Wilson Wilkins. Mr. Wilkins was a lifelong member of Hunter Acres Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, puzzles and crafts.
A funeral to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00AM, Friday at Hunter Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Donald Newell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 7:00PM to 9:00PM Thursday evening.
Mr. Wilkins is survived by his sister, Dawn Morton and husband Michael, of Kannapolis and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilkins was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky L. Wilkins.
