Born October 19, 1920 in Greensboro, NC and raised in Salisbury, Evelyn was the daughter of the late William Grady and Sallie Wagner Cline.
Evelyn and her late husband, retired Chief Master Sergeant USAF Walter Lee Johnson, lived in various locations including South Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma and Morocco.
In addition to her husband and parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by brothers, Bill, Benny and Tommy; a sister, Dot and a stillborn infant.
Survivors include her children, Beverly Ann Maselli and John S. Johnson; 2 grandchildren, Gil and Andrew Graham; 3 great grandchildren, Sydney, Andrew and Nick Graham; 4 siblings, Ted Cline, Frances Campbell, Joyce Poteat and Mary Kathryn Cress; and a half-sister, Ann Cline.
Services are planned for 3:30 pm Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Derita Presbyterian Church where friends may visit from 3 to 3:30 pm. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
