Edith Marie Gaddy Reynolds

Born April 29, 1925 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mrs. Reynolds was a daughter of the late James Dwight Gaddy and Raddie Little Gaddy. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, and retired from the Small Business Administration. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn H. Reynolds, and two sisters, Louise Huggins and Alice Griffin.

Surviving are her two sons, Richard Reynolds and wife, Donna, of Shelby, North Carolina, and Glenn S. Reynolds and wife, Denise, of Midland, North Carolina; one brother, Jim (J.D.) Gaddy of Hickory, North Carolina; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Ron Gaddy officiating. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.
