Donald Joseph Simpson, of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center. He was 70 years old.
Born in Herculaneum, Missouri, Mr. Simpson was the son of the late Clifford and Joanna Simpson. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Simpson was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Simpson; his children, Melissa Noblitt (Jason) and Brian Simpson (Erin); and his grandchildren, Gethan Condron, Emma Condron, Davis Noblitt, Jackson Simpson and Logan Simpson.
The family will receive friends 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm Monday, September 13, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
