David Brown was born March 30, 1963 in Longview, Texas. He attended Sam Houston High School and spent the majority of his life in his hometown of Arlington, Texas. David loved people, especially children, and made friends with every dog that he came in contact with. David loved to spend time with his family and friends and was always up for a game of "42" or a friendly debate over any sport. He was especially proud of his many nieces and nephews and attended as many of their events as he could. David is predeceased by his parents, Nellis and Virginia Brown. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Chuck (Cindy) Brown of McKinney, Texas, Troy (Dena) Brown and Chip (Heather) Brown, both of Charlotte, North Carolina and Sonjia (John) Fields and Lisa (Rob) Barnard, both of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by his Grandmother, Gladys Brown of Longview, TX, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
David went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Charlotte, North Carolina, surrounded by a packed room full of family and friends. A celebration of David's life will be held at Harrison United Methodist Church in Pineville, N.C. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1 p.m for family and close friends.
