Daphne James Fryer of Plano, Texas passed away October 23, 2016, at the age of 91. She was born September 25, 1925, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Bonnah G. and Beulah (Belk) James. Daphne married George Clempson Fryer on October 5, 1952, in North Carolina.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Sparling and husband, Joe of Allen, Texas; son, James Fryer of Alameda, California; grandchildren, Braden Sparling, Garrett Sparling, John Michael Sparling and wife, Bailey, and Sara Sparling; niece, Sylvia Smith and husband, John; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Daphne was preceded in death by her husband, George Clempson Fryer, daughter, Alisa Fryer, parents, and brothers, Clarence and Albert James.
Family will receive friends starting at 11:30 am on Friday, November 4, followed by a 1 pm service in the Chapel at Harry and Bryant Funeral Home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
