Conrad was born to Bertie and Alice John on May 3, 1939 Greenville, Saint Andrews, Grenada. Following his education in Grenada, he worked at a phone company and as a teacher and notary for many years.
Conrad was also a proud member of The Grenada Co-operative Nutmeg Association, an organization helping the Grenadian community develop and sustain a rich culture and a means of livelihood.
In 1986, Conrad met Marie Alie Hyppolite, a match truly made in heaven. Conrad and Alie spent their days playing cards, staying up to date with the news, gardening and watching the flowers bloom.
Conrad enjoyed was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. He loved the church and was an avid member of the Cathedral of St. Patrick.
Conrad joins his father and mother Bertie and Alice John; his siblings Ernest John, Syndy John, Roslyn Hannaway, Grisley John, Helene Hartford and Elvina in Heaven.
He is survived by many loving family members including his loving wife Marie Alie, child Elva Delores Peters; grandchild Charlene Laws; five great grandchildren and nieces Elma Paul, Leslyn Hannaway, Merill, Denise and Anne Marie Hazel.
Memorial donations may be made in Conrad’s name to the Cathedral of St. Patrick or the American Kidney Fund.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the ICU medical team at Mercy Hospital, Cathedral of St. Patrick, Conrad’s primary care physician, cardiologist and pulmonologist for their excellent care and compassion.
