Christopher James Prevette

Christopher James Prevette, age 22, died suddenly Sunday, May 11, 2014. Born in Fort Hood, TX on January 9, 1992, he was a son of David T. Prevette and Birgit Kasprowski Prevette. Christopher was a graduate of New Technology High School formerly located on the campus of Garinger High School and was employed with Papa John’s Pizza and PetSmart. He held a Black Belt in Jeet Kune Do and enjoyed playing baseball, weight training and all kinds of other sports. Christopher will be remembered as a compassionate, loving, creative and unique person and one who enjoyed all social media outlets.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, May 16, 2014 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park with Rev. Paul Sebring and wife Debbie officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by a brother, Tim Prevette and wife Catie, of Fort Bragg, NC; his paternal grandparents, James and Phyllis Ryan, of Indian Trail, NC; maternal grandparents, Alfred and Grete Kasprowski, of Dreis, Germany and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
