Mr. Charles Edwin Wade

Charles Edwin Wade (84) of Indian Trail, NC, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday October 26, 2023. Charles was born in 1938 to the late Orbin and Beulah Wade of Charlotte, and was one of eight brothers born to the couple.

Charles has three children. The late Scott Wade of Monroe, NC, Keith Wade(Vicki) of Waxhaw, NC, and Karen W. Ferguson(Jimmy)of Mint Hill, NC. He has six Grandchildren, Haley Wade, Ryan Wade, Jason Wade, Brandon Wade, Stacy Loveless, and Amanda Wade. He also has three great Grandchildren, Addison, Jax, and Emma.

Charles loved the great outdoors, often spending time hunting deer, groundhogs and fishing, as well as honing his marksmanship skills on the rifle range. He also enjoyed spending time on the couch watching old movies and boxing matches with his cats, "Socks" and "Cat".

Charles was preceded in death by his first wife Linda Sue Wade, second wife Barbara Ann Wade, brothers Robert (Bob) Odell Wade, James Orben Wade, Francis Lee Wade, Gary Eugene Wade, Donald Jackson Wade, and two infant siblings, William Wade, and Richard Wade.

He was a great Father, Paw Paw, and Father in Law to his family members, and will be missed eternally by us all.

A Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Monday October 30, 2023 at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, N.C.
