Charles was born in Charlotte March 7, 1959 to Fred G. and Marjorie H. Parker and graduated from Olympic High School. He spent most of his career in the musical instrument business working for the family business, Parker Gardner Music Company and then was self-employed as a church organ technician where he serviced and repaired church organs throughout North and South Carolina.
Charles was an avid fisherman, as was his father. He deeply loved his devoted family and his loving dog, Lola.
Charles is survived by his wife, Maria Sanchez; two brothers, Fred Parker Jr. and wife Karen and William Parker and wife Patricia; his nephew, Heath S. Parker; two step-daughters, Nereida Ramos and Mayra Ramos; a step-son, Raul Ramos; and four grandchildren, Raul Ramos, Luis Escamilla, Nadia Lopez and Nicholas Sandford.
Private services will be held by the family.
