Charles Fry

A native of Wayne, West Virginia, Charles was born on July 8, 1942 to the late Oscar Taylor Fry and Dorothy Ross Fry. Charles was a loving father and husband and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was always quick to make a joke and loved to make others laugh. He loved his family with all his heart and was a friend to all.

Charles is preceded in death by his wife Lori Virginia Fry, daughter Denise Renae Fry Palmer, and sister Carolyn Sue Fortner.

Charles is survived by daughter Angela Carol Nelson (Jimmy Nelson) of Barboursville, W.VA. and son Charles Dennis Rae Fry (Lisa Fry) of Charlotte, NC and grandchildren Brandon Dale Scott, Maeve Sophia Fry, and Mason Sullivan Fry.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 9, 2022 at 11:00am in the chapel at McEwen Funeral Home-Derita. 6300 Mallard Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28262. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association can be made.
