Carol Fox Cole

Born and raised in Burlington NC, Carol married the love of her life, Charles N Cole (Charlie), in 1962. They lived in various states and even in Spain for a while before settling in Charlotte NC to raise their 3 children. Mom worked as a banker. She was a long time member of Central United Methodist Church and loved her Sunday school class.

Later in life, she moved to ACTS Retirement community in Matthews, enjoying making new friends while keeping the old. She was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother, and will be remembered for her sharp wit and playful spirit.

Left to mourn her loss are her children Stephen C Cole (Kory Massey) of Canandaigua, NY, Cathleen Cole Johnstone (Crystal Smith) of Claremont NC and Leanne Carol Cole Magnuson (David) of Greenville SC; brother William Fox (Rachel) and sister Anita Frazier (Doug) along with grandchildren Chris, Corinne, and Bryson Cole, Ethan, Amber, and Robbie Magnuson.

Carol is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles N Cole and parents Hope and Clifton Fox.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 1pm at Central United Methodist Church, located at 6030 Albemarle Road in Charlotte. Burial immediately following at Sharon Memorial Park located at 5716 Monroe Road with a reception to follow at McEwen Funeral Service.
