Betty B. Stewart

Betty was a native of Charlotte and a daughter of the late Brice and Florence Little. She graduated from Central High school of Charlotte now known as Central Piedmont College. She worked for Southern Bell Telephone, UNCC, Johnston Mills, and Collins and Aikman.

Betty was known for her love of family, people, church and her pets. She attended Rocky River Baptist Church and Thrift Baptist Church. She excepted everyone she met as family and became a second mother to them all.

Betty was preceded in death by her sister Jeanette Patterson, husband Charlie Stewart, daughter Kristie Stewart, grandsons Mike (Little Mike) Starnes and David Passaly and granddaughter-in-law Gina Rippy.

Surviving family are her brother Robert Little, son Chuck Stewart and his wife Pat, daughter Carol Starnes and her husband Mike, granddaughters Lisa Husband and her husband Rob, Melissa Wortman and her husband John, Gina Offerman and her husband Casey, grandson Derek Rippy and his wife Christi, great grandchildren, Brandon Stacks, Todd Stacks, Dustin Stacks, Kristie, Sally, David, Ally Rippy and Eli, Adelyn Wortman.
