Betty Longino, age 81, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. Betty was born January 7, 1941 to the late Eugene and Mary Herdon in Dover, TN.
Betty will always be remembered for the love she gave to her grandchildren. She was active member at Central Church in Charlotte. She enjoyed eating out, square dancing and bowling at Park Lanes. Go Vols!
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Bill Longino; sisters Ann Herndon Wheeler and Linda Herndon Ramsey; brother Max Herndon. She is survived by her son Scott (Jessica) Mangrum; grandchildren Alex, Darby and Layla Mangrum; sister Kathy (Bill) Stubbs; step children Shannon Longino and Julie Longino Dean.
A visitation will be held at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte on Friday, April 29, 2022 beginning at 12:30pm. Funeral service will follow at 2pm. Entombment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family requests that flowers sent to the funeral home be able to be replanted in her memory garden.
