Betty Ann Teno Fletcher

Born into this world March 24, 1932 in Rock Hill, SC one of eight children born to Violet Deaton Teno and Edgar Teno. Mrs. Fletcher attended Thomasboro High School where she lettered in basketball. Mrs. Fletcher was an avid reader and Carolina Tarheel supporter who enjoyed spending time with her family. A loving wife, mother, sister and friend, she was one of the sweetest and kindest people you could ever meet. She will be greatly missed.

A funeral to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, March 9th at the Derita Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service with Pastor Tim Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to the funeral hour.

Mrs. Fletcher is survived by a daughter, Marcy Davis and husband Mackie, of Charlotte; a son, Scott Fletcher and wife Cathy, of Cornelius; grandchildren Eric Davis and wife Carrie, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Crystal Fletcher Figaro and husband Matt, of Cornelius, Bryan Fletcher and wife Courtney, of Denver; great-grandchildren Cam Davis, Tyler Figaro, Kyrsten Figaro, Grady Fletcher; a brother Eddie Teno, of Mt. Holly; three sisters, Shirley Wilson and husband Ben, of Gastonia, Carol Gale, of Indian Trail, Sandy Hagler and husband Mark, of Mint Hill.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fletcher was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Rodney Daro Fletcher; sisters Dot Walker and Margie Williams; a brother, Jerry Teno and a great-granddaughter, Cassie Marie Davis.
