Lee Harbin of Pineville, NC, died at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Monroe, Mississippi, on August 11, 1926 she lived her early life in AL with her parents Ioma and Jay Britnell. She then moved to NC where she worked and retired from Cone Mills in Pineville.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 21st, from 11a.m. to 12 Noon, at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, in Charlotte, followed by her funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
Lee was a founding member of Fayette Church of God in Fayette, AL. After her move to NC, she attended Lifebuilders Church until her death.
Lee was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Estelle Cole, Eva Hamm, and Iva Lou Pendley; sons, Jerry Harbin and Richard Harbin; and grandson, Parrish Beach, II.
Survivors include one brother, I.J. Britnell (Shirley); sisters, Elvie Williams, and Ruth Palmer; daughters, Evelyn Harbin, Jenny Harbin, Dorothy Harbin (Benny), and Peggy Harbin; grandchildren, Patricia Roof (Ron), Janet Beach (Parrish), Jeffery (Ashley), Amy Staff (Jason), Danny Ray (Evelina), Dee Rubina (Reuben), Jessica Brunk, Crystal Brunk, and Richard Brunk; thirty great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Hospice for their compassionate care and assistance.
