Arlene Janice Wilson passed away January 3, 2016 at Sharon Towers after a period of declining health. She was born to Ralph and Naomi Wilson in Miami, Florida, on October 11, 1932. She worked for Eastern Airlines for 37 years and lived in New York and Charlotte during that time.
Arlene was a life time member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, serving as Treasurer and Deacon. She was also a lifetime member of Women of the Church. Her quiet Christian service was a testament to her faith, and an encouragement to all who knew her.
She leaves behind one sister, Betty Cummingham (Thomas) of Deland, Florida, a number of nieces and nephews, longtime friend Helen Brackett, and Angels that cared for her during her hospital stay.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, 15000 York Rd, Charlotte, NC 28278, from 1:30-2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
