TJ graduated from Waddell Language Academy in Charlotte, NC. He started working at CVS and became the manager of the photo department. He went on to work at Davey Jones Fireworks for several years where he made a number of friendships. His last job was at Fast Signs and that work brought out his creative side.
TJ was an avid gamer and very tech savvy. However, one of the most important things to TJ was his grandmother's happiness, spending many days as her caregiver. Second to his grandmother were his dogs, Trixie and Raelyn. TJ was also a caring big brother to his sisters, Mandy and Bri.
TJ was pre-deceased by his grand-daddy, James Lee Sharpe, Sr., and father, Anthony Thomas, Sr.
He is survived by his mama, Lisa Michelle Sharpe; sisters, Mandy Sharpe and Bri Jolly; Maw Maw, Patricia Sharpe; uncle, Lee Sharpe; aunt, Nicole Sharpe; Paw Paw, Larry Jolly; Nana, Shirley Jolly; and close friends, Jeremy Jolly and Brian Stroupe.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at McEwen - Myers Park Chapel, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive guests prior to the service starting at 1:00 pm.
