Allan Sutton Rumfelt

Allan Sutton Rumfelt, age 49, passed away on November 9th, 2024, following a cardiac event. Allan, son of Richard Rumfelt and Sandy Grindstaff, was born and raised in Belmont, North Carolina. He graduated from South Point High School and attended Western Carolina University. He worked in the automobile industry in the Charlotte area for most of his career. Allan was beloved by family and friends, and was known as a kind and humble, witty, and generous man. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Allan is survived by his wife, Nikki Rumfelt; father, Richard Rumfelt; grandmother, Senora Wiens (Wayne); sister, Shannon Hazen (Kevin) and two nieces, Rileigh Lari (Jackson) and Lainey Hazen. Devoted to his pets, he and Nikki have five rescue pit bulls who will also miss him greatly.

The family would like to thank the medial team in the Dixon Heart unit at Carolinas Medical Center for their unparalleled expertise. They took the very best care of Allan and his family during his illness and their compassion and commitment was much appreciated.

A gathering for Allan will be held on November 23, 2024, from 2:00-6:00 pm at the McEwen Funeral Service-Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Road Charlotte, NC 28262.
