She was born on August 31,1935 in Montgomery County, NC. Mrs. Edwards was the daughter of Wade and Myrtie Coggin.
Mrs. Edwards is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James Edwards.
She is survived by her loving children and their spouses to include Renee Hilton (Allen, deceased), Lorrie Belk (Carl), Kevin Edwards (Chad) and Amy Jensen (Paul).
Mrs. Edwards is also survived by her cherished grandchildren and their spouses Ericka Dalton (Howard), Kat Wilkinson (Chris), Timothy Belk (Kimberly), Andrew Belk (Jonah) and Leila Coutch (Quinton) as well as thirteen loving great grandchildren.
There will be a private graveside service for close family.
