CHAPIN – Funeral services for Gertrude Kibler Sanders, 85, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Bethel Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. Mrs. Sanders was born September 29, 1931 in Parr, SC and passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Luther Adam Kibler, Sr. and Mannie Derrick Kibler. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and worked as Director of Employee Benefits at Lowman Home.
She is survived by her sons, Ray “Rhett” Sanders, Jr., Scott Sanders (Vickie) and Todd Sanders; grandchildren, Morgan Sanders, Sierra Sanders, Cheyenne Sanders, Josie Sanders, Shannon Keisler, Kenneth Thompson, Warren Sanders and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Everett Sanders Sr. and
her son, Tony Sanders.
