Donna Faye (McCaslin) Lovett

Donna McCaslin Lovett, aged 56, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. She was born on August 13, 1967 to Blair (Mac) and Barbara McCaslin. She graduated from Chapin High School in 1985 and attended the University of South Carolina where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After graduating, she was employed by Nationwide as a claims adjuster for 34 years.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, exercising, cooking, and her dogs. Her cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed and always remembered.

When you think of Donna, celebrate the good memories you have of her as she was vibrant and larger than life while she was here. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She will not be forgotten as she will continue to live on in our hearts and our minds.

Donna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Harold Lindler and John D. and Elsie McCaslin.

She is survived by her husband, Brent Lovett; children, Dylan (Haley) and Nick Edenfield (Riley); stepchildren, Rhett Lovett (Shannon) and Courtney Reuter (Derek); grandchildren, Hudson Edenfield, Kinsley Reuter; parents, Blair (Mac) and Barbara McCaslin; brothers, Mike McCaslin (Debbie), Harold McCaslin (Letty), and Steve McCaslin (Cindy), as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services for Donna will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 at Saint Thomas Lutheran Church, 215 Saint Thomas Church Road, Chapin, SC 29036. Family and friends may view Mrs. Lovett one hour prior to the service in the church.
