Chaney Daniel Partrich

That smile...that infectious smile. Chaney Partrich loved life and if you didn’t know it you soon found out when you met her. Chaney had the most beautiful smile in the world. The reason Chaney smiled was because she loved life, and the reason she loved life was because she loved people. Chaney was happiest when other people were happy.

Chaney Daniel Partrich only lived 20 years. But what she did in those years was worth more than a million years. Chaney made the world around her better and she made everyone she came in contact with feel special.

Chaney will be remembered as an all-state lacrosse player, as Chapin’s homecoming queen, a college lacrosse player, a straight A student, a wonderful daughter, a loving sister, a loyal friend and a beautiful person. Chaney loved her friends with a passion, she treasured her family like they were priceless and she adored and appreciated her coaches and teachers who taught her how to be better. But what Chaney would want to be remembered most for is that she loved God with all her heart and soul and that she truly believed Jesus Christ was the Son of God.

If you remember Chaney, please remember all of these but, most importantly, remember her as a Christian...and her smile. Remember that big beautiful smile that brought so much warmth and happiness to all who knew her. The world would be such a better place if there were more Chaney’s in the world.

Chaney’s life verse...”Perhaps you were born for such a time as this.” Esther 4:14

Chaney had a tattoo on her back that read, “Set the captives free.”

From Isaiah 61:1-3:

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to set the captives free and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”
