He was born in Johnson City, New York on January 25, 1984 to Robert and Denise Morse. Ted graduated from Evansville Day School and received a Bachelors of Science from the University of Evansville. He also received a Masters degree in computer science from KAIST University in Korea.
He was married to Misun Song on October 11, 2014 in Korea. Ted was a software engineer for NASA’s Intelligent Robotics Group. Ted was well liked and admired by his coworkers. He was regarded with great respect in his field and the “go-to” person for all things technical.
Although Ted was a hard worker and dedicated to his profession, his priority was always his family. Ted loved to spend time with his wife and two young sons. He often bragged about the accomplishments of his children in both their academics and other activities. He always put his family’s needs above his own and made sure they were happy.
Ted had a fantastic sense of humor and loved a good joke. Being around Ted often meant spending much of the time laughing. He was also very humble, and often downplayed his successes in favor of uplifting others.
He is survived by his wife, Misun Song; his children Robert (8) and Ian (4); his siblings Michelle "Nicki" Woosley and Bethany Morse; his nephew Josiah Woosley, and his nieces Sophia Woosley and Elizabeth Morse. He was preceded in death by his mother, Denise Morse.
